I was quite pleased with my turnout as I'd never done something like it! The icing is vanilla and the cake is devil's food. I spent all day yesterday working on , the polly pockets were the perfect finish! I put the cupcakes around the edge to add more cake and put the candles on. Originally I was going to put them lining the runway but I was wary of the dolls catching on fire..
Anyway a first attempt gone well! More to come for sure..
Note for next time: Find a way to make cheaper icing or use less (supplies in total were about $30!!)
